What Protective Shave Cream delivers

Your post-shave skin is smooth, nourished and clear after every shave.
- Clean your face first with our gently exfoliating DAILY FACE WASH to prep your skin.
- Then smooth a thin layer of PROTECTIVE SHAVE CREAM on to clean, damp skin with your fingers and massage.
You can also use a shave brush working the cream in a circular motion.
The shave brush will lift the hairs and coat them more evenly with the shaving cream. - Let the shaving cream sit for two to three minutes, particularly if you have thicker facial hair.
This helps the shaving cream really penetrate the hairs and soften them prior to cutting. - For the perfect shave, use a clean, sharp blade and rinse regularly.
- Wipe off excess cream or rinse.
If you’re used to a foaming shave cream or shaving soap all of this will feel very strange at first.
But trust us, it’s the best way to protect your skin and prevent irritation.

A nourishing shave cream will create a rich, lubricated barrier between your skin and the razor. This protects your skin as well as providing lubrication for the shaving process itself, softening your beard and helping maintain your skin’s hydration level too.
This is particularly important if you already have sensitive skin.
Shaving soap and foaming gel will give you a big, frothy ‘beard’ of lather. This can feel reassuring. It’s as though your face is protected by a super soft cushion of foam …. but don’t be fooled! This frothy ‘cushion’ is made up of tiny pockets of air which will disappear as soon as a blade touches them, leaving your skin unprotected.
In addition, shaving soap and foaming gel can be drying and irritating for your skin.
A non-lathering protective shave cream will give you a smooth close shave while also protecting your skin from irritation.
